The Nizami Ganjavi International Center participated in the Munich Security Conference

Members of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center - 73rd President of the UN General Assembly Maria Fernanda Espinosa, former President of Serbia Boris Tadic, former Deputy Prime Minister of Israel Tzipi Livni, former Secretary-General of the Arab League Amr Musa, former Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia Eka Tkeshelashvili, as well as Secretary-General Rovshan Muradov and Chief strategy and sustainability officer Rza Aliyev - participated in the 61st Munich Security Conference (MSC).
Within the framework of the conference, members of the Center held a number of meetings with heads of state and government, as well as leaders of international organizations participating in the MSC. Important discussions covering global challenges took place during meetings with President of Moldova Maia Sandu, Director-General of the World Health Organization Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, President of COP29 Mukhtar Babayev, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency Fatih Birol, Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme Achim Steiner, former President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, former Vice Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee and former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Fu Ying, and other heads of UN organizations.
The three-day conference brought together more than 60 heads of state and government worldwide to debate on global challenges and explore prospects.
