XXV HLM: "Picking Up the Pieces: The Challenges of Fixing Broken World"

The Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC), in partnership with the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), held a high-level conference titled “Picking Up the Pieces: The Challenges of Fixing a Broken World” on 12–13 January 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland.
The event brought together over 40 distinguished global leaders, former heads of state, and senior UN representatives to discuss key global challenges, including peace and security amid geopolitical tensions, migration and refugee crises, global health strategy, climate change, and the future of multilateralism.
Speakers such as Tatiana Valovaya, Ismail Serageldin, Volkan Bozkir, Maria Fernanda Espinosa, Vaira Vike-Freiberga, and others emphasized the need for renewed international cooperation, reform of multilateral institutions, and collective action to address global instability.
The two-day meeting reaffirmed NGIC’s mission to foster dialogue, understanding, and joint solutions among world leaders, contributing to global peace, sustainable development, and shared progress.
